Who We Are Looking For:

We seek individuals who are not only qualified but are also dedicated to delivering personalized, quality care to every child and family we serve. Our requirements are designed to ensure that every member of our team is equipped to provide the highest level of care, support, and empathy.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in healthcare or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Clinical experience, particularly in pediatric care

  • Experience working with pediatrics is an asset

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members

  • Ability to address and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring the child’s safety and comfort

  • Capability to adapt to different home environments and cater to the diverse needs of children

Licensure:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Professional Liability Insurance

Background Check:

  • Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 12 months

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of WeeCare’s orientation and training program

Personal Attributes:

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and patience

  • Ability to work one-on-one

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct
